Léopold Sédar Senghor Research.

Leopold Sedar Senghor was a Senegalese poet, politician, and cultural theorist who served as the first president of Senegal. Senghor was the first African to sit as a member of the academic francaise. He was also the founder of the political party called the Senegalese Democratic Bloc. As a young boy Senghor suffered from testicular cancer and had to get it removed.Senghor decided to start his teaching years at the Lycée René-Descartes in Tours and taught with the Lycée Marcelin Berthelot in Saint-Maur-des-Fosses near Paris.
